IMPORTANT COVID & MASK GUIDELINES
At UREC, masks are required for entry and are to be worn properly at all times while inside the building with the following exceptions:

Vaccinated participants may lower masks while actively engaging in club activity/exercise. Masks must cover the nose and mouth once club activity/exercise is complete.

Participants may lower masks temporarily to drink water.

Unvaccinated participants must wear a mask above the mouth and nose at ALL times.
COVID-19 Guidelines:
Masks are optional and NOT required for playing. You are welcome to wear them if it makes you comfortable, but it is not required!
Note of Conduct
Please be respectful to all other teams, players and spectators before, during and after all games.
Remember we are all here to enjoy a competitive day of volleyball and any unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
FOOD and Drink
Food and drinks are permitted, but must be kept in the areas designated for food. This includes the tables on the first floor of UREC located in the atrium, the tables on the 2nd floor located next to the racquetball courts, and the outdoor courtyards.
Spectators
Spectators are permitted, but they must wear a mask AT ALL TIMES, unless eating or drinking. Chairs will be provided.
POOL PLAY AND PLAYOFFS
During pool play, there will be two-four team pools and one three team pool. The 3-team pools will play three sets to 25. The 4-team pool will play two sets to 25, no matter what. This is to ensure all teams play an equal amount of sets. Pool play games will be won by 2 and have a cap of 30.
Warmups will be 2-4-4 for each team’s first match, and 1-2-2 for every match afterward. Please start pool play games on time. The playoff bracket will be created based on the sets won first then go to an average point differential for any ties. The top four teams will go to the gold bracket, and teams 5th-8th will go to the silver bracket. Each match in the playoffs will be best 2 of 3 sets with no cap. Playoffs are single elimination.
This is a recognized NCVF fellowship tournament. There will be no roster checks and results will go towards NCVF ranking/seeding.
